Slurry experiments
WebbExperiments were conducted in a slurry pot erosion test rig using sea sand particles as erodent material. Taguchi L27 array is used to analyse the effect of selected factors on the erosion. Morphology of the eroded surfaces was examined using a scanning electron microscope to study the erosion behaviour. Webb18 jan. 2024 · In this study, slurry erosion experiments are conducted using quartz particles with similar shapes and different sizes ranging from 25 μm to 600 μm to investigate the effect of particle size on erosion profiles and provide the database for evaluating available erosion models.
