WebFeb 20, 2024 · The boss connection is a compression fit. It is quiet old. The pipe going in is about 32mm. (hear lie the problem) So I got some floplast 32mm solvent weld pipe. Put it into the fitting - I should mention at this point that I am able to take the pipe out of the fitting without having to undo the compression. This does not fill me with confidence.
