If they fit, is there any other problem. Refer to Sheldon. A 27.5" inch tire has a 584 mm rim, the same as 26 x 1 1/2 (650B). 29" tires have a 622 mm rim, the same as 700C road tires. A 27.5" tire will not fit on a 29" rim. You'll need the same size rotors on both as well.

But putting 27.5 on a bike designed around a 29er wheel is going to make the geometry of the bike way off. Highly recommend getting a 27.5 frame. Obviously the actual diameter of a particular wheel depends on the size of tire installed on it. The rim sizes are 559, 584 and 622mm respectively, as defined by ISO standards.

As long as the fork fits the frame (mainly stem diameter), you should have no issues. If there are any advantages to these mixed wheel bikes, I can't say.
